Waits and whiskey: what works?

- What?
Listen to some Tom Waits, drink some bourbon (or Bushmill’s if you prefer), discuss, debate.

- When?
We need to figure that out.

- Where?
We need to figure that out, too.

- Who?
Whomever. If you’re interested enough to read this, probably you.

- Why?
If you’re asking that question, you probably don’t fit the definition of “who” above.

I’ve got a friend who’s the production manager at the Knitting Factory - even their small space is probably too big, but he may have some advice on friendly venues w/decent sound systems.  Will check it out.

Or we can find a pub that will allow us to commandeer the CD player (or a pub with a record player) . . . . .sometime in June

I’m down.  My place is a possibility also.  Carroll stop on the F train, so pretty easy to get to.  Record player doesn’t work though…

I can offer my place as a gathering spot, but since it’s out in the wilds of G line Brooklyn that may not work for everyone.

Haven’t confirmed, but I believe that I can also bring Swordfishtrombones and Heartattack & Vine on vinyl (and most others on CD or mp3).
